One question, one measured answer

What share of observed flight deals are one-way fares?

56% as of .

56% of the 1529 currently qualifying fare observations are one-way itineraries. The figure is recomputed from each published snapshot of the dataset and this page always cites the exact archived version it was computed from.

How this number is measured

The answer comes from the Flare public fare observation snapshot, version 2026-09-02T06-17-06-671Z (immutable archive with CSV, JSON and SHA-256 checksums). A qualifying observation is a fare with a positive current price and reference price and a measured drop of at least 30%. Full definitions, collection method and limitations are on the methodology page; reuse rights are covered by the data reuse terms.

This is a bounded product snapshot of fares observed by Flare, not an airfare market index and not a historical series. Fares change constantly: recheck any itinerary with the booking provider.
