How this number is measured
The answer comes from the Flare public fare observation snapshot, version 2026-09-02T06-17-06-671Z (immutable archive with CSV, JSON and SHA-256 checksums). A qualifying observation is a fare with a positive current price and reference price and a measured drop of at least 30%. Full definitions, collection method and limitations are on the methodology page; reuse rights are covered by the data reuse terms.
This is a bounded product snapshot of fares observed by Flare, not an airfare market index and not a historical series. Fares change constantly: recheck any itinerary with the booking provider.
